Q: What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done to get your hands on any particular book?
I would first like to express my undying love and shameless adoration for Alison and Rachel aka Parajunkee for featuring my blog. It’s a huge honor, I’ve been participating in the #FF for a while and they’re certainly two of my blogging heroes 😀 So here’s to you ladies:
Now, the craziest thing I did for a book is…uhm, boring. The most effort I’ve put into getting a book was stalking a guy selling old books (including getting his number and calling him, lol) to get me a dictionary published in 1953 in Moscow, it’s a Russian-Romanian dictionary and I adore it; it’s a hardcover, and the pages are yellow-ish hued since it’s so old – it’s one of the things I have I treasure the most.
Generally the big effort is ordering them online and then waiting in line for hours in the post office to pick up my packages *rolls eyes* bureaucracy is the name of the game.
P.S.: Since there’s a lot of you coming over this #FF, I’m just letting you know I am stalking you all and following and liking and all all over the place. We can do button swapping as well, you just tell me in the comments you grabbed one of my buttons and I will grab yours xDDD Sounds kinky, doesn’t it? 😀
I’ll also be taking part in the fab:
Head on over to Parajunkee’s place to join the social hopping galore xDDDD
What about you? Comment and tell me or link me to your #FF! And don’t forget to hop around, follow and say hi to people, we’re in this together hm?
