Q: BeefcakeandBabes Asks: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What’s the most unique character name you’ve come across?
It would have to be Renesmee from Twilight, definitely. I thought that name was genius, just pronounce it out loud, it sounds like a whispery echo even spoken out loud. Genius.
What I like about it most it that it sounds genius, but it’s not elaborate. I mean, I’ve read about some pretty tongue-acrobatic names, they’re complicated, convoluted, unique most likely through not having a likeness. But genius names are rather uncomplicated and memorable, special, memorable by effect not by form, if you ask me.
