~ Goodreads Blurb
World Building: Interesting, the stories have each a world of its own, imaginative, science fiction or more fantasy, futuristic, parallel universe. Cool stuff, but I wasn’t hooked.
Characters: Again, interesting. Of course, this is an anthology so there’s not a lot of focus on each of them, though some of the stories are longer then others. I didn’t respond to the characters though, didn’t get involved at all.
Plot: Curious, in each case. They each had an interesting twist.
Writing: Again, interesting, though in places it felt to me a bit too sci-fi techy, maybe? I’m more of a space opera setting for something else going on, not sci-fi for the sake of sci-fi, you know?
Curb Appeal: Low, sadly. No Goodreads blurb – and that’s where it counts for me, sort of weak cover. This wouldn’t be a compulsive buy.
All in all, not a bad read, but not thrilling for me either.
