  • Being held captive for winter never felt so good.

Lili is on her way to her cousin’s wedding when she thinks she hit a man in the road. Leaving the safety of her car to check on him turns out the be a big mistake, and pretty soon Lili is being abducted and held against her will by a super-sexy wolf who her body longs to touch. But just because he’s hot doesn’t mean she’s going to remain a captive.

Cade is not just an alpha, he’s a very wealthy man, used to getting what he wants. So when he attempts to abduct his ex-friend’s fiancé, he doesn’t expect to wind up with the wrong woman. Just how did he wind up with the maid of honor? And why does the woman melt every inch of him? But when the woman escapes, real danger awaits. And Cade must convince her to see beyond his deception if he wants to keep her alive.

  • Bomy’s Flutter: fun and sexy

  • World Building: The paranormal element makes a smooth entrance, and I loved the effortless way it made sense.
Characters: Awesome. Lili was super fun and spunky, had an awesome sense of humor and was just a pleasure to read. Cade was all alpha and animal magnetism thing going on, they made a sizzling pair and their chemistry was immediate and obvious. We have a clear case of insta-want between them but also a relationship that builds slower – this makes perfect sense to me. I love realistic approaches to romance, there’s nothing better. Their one on one was hot and sort of wild-passion flavored, toe curling intensity.
Plot: Interesting without getting overwhelming. There was something going on with every character pretty much, but without deterring from the romance arc. This was one of those novels with awesome series potential, this sort of writing is, in my opinion, perfect for it.
Writing: Awesome as far as I’m concerned. Direct, filled with humor thanks to the characters, hot where it needed to be and delicate with emotion when it came up. I particularly liked the flair this author has with scenes of the main couple, very well built tension that just kept on building regardless of what happened.
Curb Appeal: Compulsive buy material, for sure.

All in all, this was a fun and sexy read, I loved the characters and the way tension built, and I loved the happy ending 😀 If you like shifter/werewolves stories, I say give this a shot.
