Book-o-Sphere Flutters ~ April 26th Edition

Flutter-worthy News

  • Carmel @ Rabid Reads talked about Paranormal New Releases: April 22nd – she mentioned 2 yummylicious-looking steampunks 😀
  • Jennifer @ Reading and Writing Urban Fantasy, Paranormal and Romance produced yet another drool-worthy list of Kindle & Nook Freebies #78 – I got like 5 of them, I think. Go forth and capture those babies if they’re still free. And I wanna add one freebie I stumbled upon by accident, The Boss by Abigail Barnette (romance pen name of Jennifer Armintrout who wrote the awesome Blood Ties)

  • Tips&Tricks for the pro butterfly

  • Penny C. Sansevieri @ Huffington Post talked about How to Research Keywords to Help you Create the Perfect Book – ie applying the blog post creation tactics to writing books. Interesting idea, though I’ll confess I don’t use the strategy for blog posts either. I mean, it’s a really good strategy, go forth and doeth, guys. I’m not going to, though.
I’m thinking the things I want to read don’t follow a trend, but a the bubbly and heartily opinionated thought(s) of someone. But think about it, books written by that concept – good, bad, terrifying? Just how far would you want the book writing process to become a complete crowd-pleaser?
