The Dark Kings have fought for centuries to preserve their dragon magic. But can one warrior resist the greatest temptation of all. . .?Even though he knows he should keep his distance, Kiril is falling hard for Shara. But when Shara uncovers what Kiril has been looking for all along, she is faced with a choice—hide the information from him? Or tell him the truth, even if it means death should her family learn what she’s done? As overwhelming desire builds between them, Shara knows she cannot lie to the one who has captured her, body and soul. Kiril knows he shouldn’t trust this Dark Fae who is slowly learning all his secrets, but as they are drawn closer together, he is unable to resist her…in Burning Desire: Part 2 by Donna Grant
Worldbuilding: I’m so loving the mix of Dark Fae (Balladyn for the WIN!!), dragon shifters extraordinaire and all the conflict of the series’ world!
Characters: While I’m loving Kiril hardcore, I very much approve of the light this part of the serial shone on Shara and her feelings. Don’t get me wrong, we got a good picture of her in Part 1 as well, but with some extra eye-candy showing up (Balladyn for the WIN!!) and conflict escalating, I felt all characters shone all the more 😀
Plot: Things are getting a lot more interesting where conflict and action are concerned. I foresee a lot of kiackass-itude happening in Part 3 😀
Writing: His and her POV, third person, past tense narrative.
Curb Appeal: Hawt cover, awesome concept, fae and dragons… are you kidding me? Instant buy!
Loved this part of the story, and am totally looking forward to reading the next one. You can get your hands on this baby soon, or wait for the 4 parts of the serial to be out, but either way, I say read this baby, it’s totally worth it!
