Vi: If you can’t sell a dildo in Vegas, you’re doing it wrong. That’s why I opened Whipped–a sex toy store. Because sex and Sin City go together like… well, like sex and Sin City.
I’ve seen everything–and I mean EVERYTHING–which is why the guy who comes in every week with a new flavor of arm candy buying yet another set of sex toys doesn’t surprise me. But when he becomes my new roommate, well…
Lachlan: I’m a male stripper. I’m not ashamed of it–in fact, I fucking love it. I turn girls on five nights a week. With a stare. With a sway of the hips. Then I take them home and fuck their brains out. I live by three rules: No commitments. No falling in love. Only mind-blowing orgasms.
Now I want more.
But Vi isn’t interested in a fuck buddy, and I’ve never been one to stick to a single girl.
They say that what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas. But when you live here full time…
That’s when things really get interesting.
This series just keeps getting better and better!! This novel is the second in the Hitched series and can be read as a standalone. It was fun and virtually drama free! The characters were loveable and made you wish you were there to join in on their fun!!
Vi is a Dominatrix. *devious smile* She commands not only in the bedroom but in her day to day life as well. As co-owner of her new sex toy shop, Whipped, she needs to be in control now, more than ever. But one thing that is lacking in her life, is love. But that all changes when the answer to her roommate problem walks his fine ass in! Vi was a heroine that had her shit together. I loved that she wasn’t overly whiny or tried to create unnecessary drama.
Lach is in the Aussie Posse, aka, dude’s a stripper! He was like this stripper with a heart of gold and I loved him. Lach is a good guy who has this vision of helping people, he just never expected that vision to include a sassy Dominatrix. He was a crazy good boyfriend! One of my favorite parts of Lach and Vi’s relationship were the dates!! The first date was sweet. The second date was so freaking funny. And the third date was so awesomely cool with an extra dose of sexy!
They made such a good couple and that really radiated out to the rest of the characters who caught their happy bug. Pretty much all the characters were happy and super chill and didn’t create problems for the main couple. The best characters I have to say were Vi’s parents!! I absolutely adored them!!! Lach and Vi were pretty much great in all areas of their relationship. There were some pretty hot love scenes and some love scenes that were down right hilarious!
This novel has the whole curb appeal down pat! The cover of this novel is ridiculously hot! It follows the same theme as the first novel in the series but this cover is just a little bit more risqué and I love it! The blurb grabs your attention and honestly gives you a little tease that makes you crave more!
All in all this novel was fantastic! The characters were good people and made you feel good as well. No crazy ex drama or unnecessary crap drama was found in this book. It was pretty much smooth sailing and that couldn’t have been a more wanted change of pace for me! I really hope this series continues because I would love to read some of the side character’s own stories!! If you are in the mood for two people that stumble in on a fantastic chance at love, come and find out why being Whipped is oh so good!! 😉
I couldn't have said that better myself! Reading is huge passion of mine. And I'm glad that books not only expand my world view but that they bring the wonderful people who created them into my life. You can always find me with a book and an eclectic mix of music on. I am a HEA junkie extraordinaire! I am a Beta reader, who loves helping authors bring their characters to life. As well as an avid romance reader (every and anything ;D) turned aspiring author.
