Before that fateful summer night, Willow had balanced the insight of emotion, and the vivid images. That night, the figure in her nightmare marked her wrist with a star, giving her father no choice but to tell Willow a family secret that would abruptly change life, as she knew it, forever. Before Willow had time to absorb the shock of her father’s secret, her soul mate that had shared every stunning dream with her, found her, and darkness captured her closest friends. In order to save them, she must weave through broken myths and the undeniable power of the Zodiac. In the end, Willow discovers that at the moment of our birth we are all given a divine gift.
This book was crazy intense! And honestly I’m not sure how I can define it! It was so different from what I normally read but something that I thoroughly enjoyed. This novel sort of throws out the rules and thrusts you into a world that is full of different dimensions. The three main dimensions that the characters visit/live on are Infante, Chara, and Esterious.
This novel throws a lot of information at you, throughout the whole story. But luckily it wasn’t too hard to follow! This story is a mix of action, romance, paranormal, and magic. It has a lot to do with zodiac signs, birth charts, and finding your soul mate. It’s actually going to be kind of hard to describe this book because there are so many pieces that make up the whole.
Willow Haywood has had something special about her, her whole life. She is able to help the ones around her and beyond, with just a touch. She has always been able to read the emotions of everyone and with a single touch bring them peace or confidence or whatever emotion they need to help them through their situation. But after her 18th birthday all the questions that she’s ever had double, and open a door to a world that she never knew existed.
Laden Chambers has been dreaming of Willow all of his life. Every night they meet in his dreams but never speak. They take comfort in each other’s presence and yearn for something more real. He has tried to find his soul mate for years but he could have never imagined that once he found her, that it was only the beginning. That he would have to go head to head with someone that wants her just as bad as he does. And that he could only rely on one thing to help him and Willow through their trials, love.
Drake Blakeshire is obsessed. Landen wasn’t the only one with Willow at night in their dreams. Drake was too, although Willow classifies her time with Drake as nightmares. Drake is from the dimension Esterious, where laughter and smiling are forbidden. He believes that when he makes Willow his own, their love, will help bring about change and be an unstoppable force.
This story sort of had a love triangle. Willow and Landen are the main couple but Drake is going head to head with Willow and Landen to show them that Willow is his. There is also insta love. I didn’t actually mind it in this story just for the sole fact that Willow and Landen have been seeing each other all their life, even if it’s just in their dreams, and that their love has grown over the years.
All in all this was a crazy roller coaster ride but one I’m eager to continue! This is a series read so there was a bit of a cliffhanger at the end of the story but as for now ended in a HEA for Willow and Landen. So if you’re ready to take a dive into a series that has a beautiful take on soul mates and is filled with crazy action come and find out why Willow’s Insight is just the beginning!!!!!
I couldn't have said that better myself! Reading is huge passion of mine. And I'm glad that books not only expand my world view but that they bring the wonderful people who created them into my life. You can always find me with a book and an eclectic mix of music on. I am a HEA junkie extraordinaire! I am a Beta reader, who loves helping authors bring their characters to life. As well as an avid romance reader (every and anything ;D) turned aspiring author.
