Where to begin with this story?? This is the classic rocker romance that I have come to expect from the awesome Miss Cunning!! This is the first novel in the Exodus End series and does a really great job of setting up the rest of the series. It gives you tidbits of each of the other characters and has you craving their stories as well!!
Toni Nichols wants to pursue her dreams of creating interactive biographies about rock bands. And when the chance to go on tour with Exodus End arises there is no way she is going to pass up this opportunity! When she finally arrives on the bus and is in the presence of the four Rock Gods does she realize that she may have bit off more than she could chew. Honestly I didn’t care too much for the heroine. Sometimes she would be funny and cool but other times she froze up and never really called anyone out on their bullshit, especially Logan’s. I wanted her to be hardcore like the other heroines I’ve come to love (in the Sinners on Tour series) but she just ended up being spineless.
Logan Schmidt is the panty melting bassist of Exodus End. When he is not playing in sold out arenas around the country, he is jumping out of planes and cliffs and doing any thrill seeking adventure he can find. But he could have never known the best adventure of his life was in the form of a sweet quiet journalist that wants him to spill his guts to her! Logan was sweet but definitely irritated me with his back and forth actions regarding Toni. One minute he would do something that showed he cared and then in the same instant play their connection down to just friends.
I wish their deeper connection was shown more often than the sex scenes were. I actually skimmed through quite a bit of them (I know super blasphemous!) for the sole fact that the sex seemed to be the basis of their whole relationship. I understand their attraction for one another just not the fact that their clothes seemed to melt away every time they were left alone together.
All in all this novel was a great springboard for the other characters in the series! I’m super excited to read Max and Dares’ books since they were the most broody of all the characters!! I also can’t wait for Reagan’s book, which is next in the series, and all the crazy and delicious drama that is going to bring! If you are in the mood for a rocking start to a new Rock Star series, come and check out what it means to be an Insider!!!

I have to start Sinners on Tour, I got all the books when it was super popular. I guess it’s that same popularity that put reading it off for me. Now at least I can binge! Lol

Lovely review, Livia, it’s great that this was good even if it’s not exactly like SoT.
