    Fluttering Thoughts:

Worldbuilding: This short story takes place in Mission Hill, Boston. It is mostly centered in and around Kinsey’s apartment.
Characters: The main characters in this story are Kinsey Malone and Astrid Zhao. Kinsey has never been that attracted to any one person until Astrid busts into her life. Can Kinsey explore her attraction to Astrid without getting burned or will their flame burn out just as quickly as it ignited? Astrid has been singed before when it comes to love. And now her mantra is No Straight Girls. Heartbreak was enough the first time, but after meeting Kinsey, Astrid just can’t seem to stay away. Will Astrid let go of past insecurities or will they get the best of her and cause her to lose out on a once in a lifetime love?
Plot: This was really just a tale of two people trying to find what makes them happy and letting go of old hurts/insecurities.
Writing: This story is told in third person point of view of Kinsey and Astrid.
Curb Appeal: I absolutely love the cover of this anthology!! It is so freaking pretty and simple! My only problem is the blurb. I wish that it would give just a little information on each story that is within the anthology. You kind of have to go through each author and look for their own blurb for each story in this anthology. And some of the authors don’t offer this up, so you have to dive into the story blind!
Ultimately: This was a great short story about not being afraid to go after what you want. It was super-duper short but definitely packed a punch! It was hot and sweet all at the same time and I really enjoyed it! If you are in the mood for two heroines that finally want to follow their hearts, then come check out Looking For A Complication!!
