November is looking forward to getting to know her father and the safety of a small town. After leaving the Big Apple and her bad memories for Tennessee, November starts working for her dad at his strip club doing the books. The one time she’s allowed there during club hours she runs into Asher Mayson. He’s perfect until he opens his mouth and makes assumptions. November wants nothing to do with Asher but too bad for November, fate has other plans.
Asher Mayson has never had a problem getting a woman, that is until November. Now all he can think about is making November his and keeping her safe.
Worldbuilding: This novel takes place in Tennessee, mostly in and around Asher’s house.
Characters: The main characters in this story are Asher and November. November has had a rough go of things lately but her lifeline comes in the form of leaving New York to go live with her father in a safe and small Tennessee town. After agreeing to do the books for her father’s strip club she comes face to face with one of the most handsome guys she has ever seen and when he opens his mouth, one of the rudest too! November’s life has never been easy and when this hurricane of a man blows into her life, she can’t help but get caught up in his storm. Can he break down her walls and earn her trust? Or will demons of her past rise up and conspire to keep them apart forever? When Asher first meets November he makes assumptions that makes him strike out with the first girl who has ever really piqued his interest. After owning up to his mistake he makes it his mission to make November his girl and take care of her. Can these two make a go of it even though he is ultra-cocky and bossy? Or will both their past’s come to haunt them and make them miss out on a one in a lifetime type of love?
Plot: When I first dived into this book I thought that it was only going to be a love story but turns out that there is was a lot more than meets the eyes on first glance! This story had some thrill and suspense thrown in for good measure too!
Writing: This novel is told in first person points of view of Asher and November, although November’s point of view is featured the most. This is the first novel in the Until series and can also be read as a standalone.
Curb Appeal: I really like this cover! I love the colors and how to meshes with the rest of the covers in the series! The blurb sums up the story in a nutshell. When I first read it I thought that the strip club was going to be central to the story and as it turns out it’s pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things!
Ultimately: This novel is a great start to the Until series! I’m excited that Asher’s brothers are getting their own novels and glad that this novel set up other characters and their stories! All in all, if you are in the mood for a super bossy alpha male who wants to do nothing but take care of his woman then come check out Until November!!
I couldn't have said that better myself! Reading is huge passion of mine. And I'm glad that books not only expand my world view but that they bring the wonderful people who created them into my life. You can always find me with a book and an eclectic mix of music on. I am a HEA junkie extraordinaire! I am a Beta reader, who loves helping authors bring their characters to life. As well as an avid romance reader (every and anything ;D) turned aspiring author.
