I’ve always been on my own. My life used to consist of nothing but work, keeping Allen out of trouble, and if I had time, sleep. Then I became their maid.
Every day more than half a million people tune in to watch my show. They trust me. I know it’s because I’m the only son of the prominent Emerson family. However, I like to believe it because I’m honest no matter what story I report on. I’m honest about everything but the man I’ve been f**king for the last four years… and now her.
First I want three things: First Maxwell Emerson and Jane Chapman both in my bed. Second, to be the best bloody chef in the country. Third, to figure out how to simultaneously get the first and second things I want without any of us getting hurt.
ONE LOVE STORY…
Ohmygawd I loved this novel! I loved that all these characters where such opposites and how the heroine just fit together with the heroes like puzzle pieces! I liked how this story wasn’t entirely focused on the romance between the characters, but also their jobs, their wants and needs, as well as their families and the relationship they had with them.
Jane Chapman didn’t have the best start in life nor was her upbringing anything to write home about if she actually had a home. The only person she could even slightly count on was her foster brother Allen but even then, she gets devastating news that she really can only count on herself. But fate has a funny way of throwing your life into utter chaos only for it to put you in the path of your soulmate or rather two soulmates.
Max Emerson is Boston’s top news producer/anchor. He goes after the truth and doesn’t stop until it’s unearthed! He’s honest about everything except his love life. And that for the past four years he hasn’t actually been playing the playboy just playing with one boy. The sexy and unbelievably amazing chef Wesley Uhler. Everything in Max’s life is great except his nagging parents and the new maid that has him thinking three is a better number than two.
Wesley Uhler is a world famous chef who always goes after what he wants. He has a hot man in his bed and now he wants the new sexy little maid too. Their attraction is instantaneous and no matter how hard Max fights this, Wesley knows that their threesome could be everything they have ever wanted. Now it’s just matter of getting Jane and Max to cooperate.
Both of the heroes were alpha males and I loved their dynamic. They challenged one another but also complemented each other. But I absolutely hated, hated, hated the ending!!! I didn’t know going into the story that it had a cliff hanger ending! But I am seriously looking forward to the follow up of this novel! This is book one of a two-part book series.
Ultimately this ménage story was artfully done and I loved it! These characters had depth and their pain was your pain, their happiness was your happiness and I really hope that in the next novel these characters find their happily ever after! All in all, if you are in the mood for two, let me repeat, two hot and sexy alpha males that not only love the heroine but also each other then come check out The Anatomy of Jane!
I couldn't have said that better myself! Reading is huge passion of mine. And I'm glad that books not only expand my world view but that they bring the wonderful people who created them into my life. You can always find me with a book and an eclectic mix of music on. I am a HEA junkie extraordinaire! I am a Beta reader, who loves helping authors bring their characters to life. As well as an avid romance reader (every and anything ;D) turned aspiring author.
