I want him to be my first.
I want him to be the one.
I want him to be my everything.
I didn’t expect to spend my eighteenth birthday stranded in the pouring rain with no way to make it home.
I didn’t expect to be rescued from the worst night of my life by the most amazing man I’d ever seen.
His name is Nick, and he says he wants to take care of me, says he’ll look after me, says I don’t need to be alone anymore.
He treats me like a princess, like the fragile little girl he saved from the cold.
But I like him… I like him like that.
I’ve never liked anyone like that before…
And it’s weird, this thing we have…
It’s like I can’t decide how we’re supposed to be… what we are…
Until he says the words…
Call me Daddy.
Worldbuilding: This story takes place in Newhaven, England, mostly in Nick’s house.
Characters: The main characters in this novel are Nick Lynch and Laine Seabourne. Laine isn’t having the best birthday and it could arguably be one of the worst nights of her life. But miraculously she is rescued by a man who makes her want things she has never wanted before. After the worst night of her life turns into the best weeks of her life, she realizes Nick is all she has ever wanted. Can she convince him that their age difference means nothing? Or will the games they play prove to be too taboo? Nick was in the wrong place, at the right time. And boy, was he glad! Finding Laine is like being able to see color again. But the urges she brings out in him is something he has never experienced before. Can he convince her to stay and be his little girl? Or will doubts consume their happily ever after?
Plot: This is a DD/lg (Daddy Dom/little girl) insta-love tale that isn’t just an erotic short story, but has an actual storyline with it.
Writing: This novel is written in first person point of view of Nick and Laine. It is a standalone romance that ends in a HEA.
Curb Appeal: This cover is an absolute perfect fit for this story and completely drool worthy as well! The blurb does give a good idea on what the story is about but gives the vibe of a short story when it’s closer to a novella/novel length story.
Ultimately: I enjoyed this DD/lg story more than I thought that I would! It wasn’t overly sexual or creepy. It had a nice balance of erotic scenes and actual story. All in all, if you are in the mood for a hero who wants to do everything he can do to keep his princess safe and a little girl who knows what she wants then come check out Call Me Daddy!!
I couldn't have said that better myself! Reading is huge passion of mine. And I'm glad that books not only expand my world view but that they bring the wonderful people who created them into my life. You can always find me with a book and an eclectic mix of music on. I am a HEA junkie extraordinaire! I am a Beta reader, who loves helping authors bring their characters to life. As well as an avid romance reader (every and anything ;D) turned aspiring author.
