Alena is a princess, and with that comes responsibility. Like marrying the giant caveman King Roman, who looks more like a warrior than a ruler. Everything about him is intense. Especially the way he looks at her. But she’s been promised to him, and there’s no way out.
Roman took one look and made up his mind. Princess Alena will be his and no one will stop him from taking her. Everything about her belongs to him now, and waiting one week for a wedding isn’t going to happen.
This beast of a man might just claim his princess before she has a chance to say “I do.”
Worldbuilding: This story takes place in Alena’s home and then Roman’s. There’s barely any scene setting, so it seems like it is left up to the reader to create a world for Alena and Roman to be in.
Characters: The main characters are Princess Alena and King Roman. Alena has been promised away. She is now the new bride of King Roman, a man she has never met before. Fortunately, the internet is full of pictures of him, but if she thought seeing his face would ease her mind, she has another thing coming. He looks unbelievable intimidating and the thought of meeting him is making her a nervous wreck. But she must do her duty and when she finally meets him her life is turned upside down. Roman has seen an angel and wants to make her his. Alena is perfect and he is willing to do anything to make her his bride. But even though he is used to getting what he wants, Alena doesn’t bend as easily as he thought she would. Can he convince her that he is the one for her and that he can give her the world? Or will her stubbornness get in the way of their true happiness?
Plot: This is mainly an insta-love story between Alena and Roman, although it does set up a novella for Alena’s sister.
Writing: This story is told in first person points of view of Alena and Roman. It is the first novella in the Princess series, which are all standalones.
Curb Appeal: I love, love, love this cover! It’s just so dang pretty!! Definitely screams princess! The blurb grabs the reader’s attention and gives just enough to make you curious about Alena and Roman’s story.
Ultimately: It was a modern-day fairy tale that I really enjoyed! I’m definitely looking forward to Alena’s sister’s story which is the fourth novella in this new series! All in all, if you are looking for a quick and hot insta-love story then come check out His Princess!!!
