Bronagh (Slater Brothers #1.5)
Bronagh Murphy has been through a lot over the past few years, a hell of a lot, so when her 21st birthday rolls around all she wants to do is relax and spend the day with her family. Quietly.
Her boyfriend, Dominic Slater, doesn’t do relaxed or quiet. He never has, and he never will. He plans out a day for Bronagh that is both romantic, and exciting. However, Dominic’s version of exciting is very different to Bronagh’s as she will soon find out.
When things take a turn for the worst, and a bad altercation leaves Dominic once again fighting for his girl, Bronagh will have to decide once and for all if she will fight in Dominic’s corner or walk away and never look back.
Bronagh loves Dominic, and what Bronagh loves, Bronagh protects.

Fluttering Thoughts:
Worldbuilding: This story takes place in Dublin, Ireland!
Characters: The main characters in this novella are Bronagh Murphy and Dominic Slater. Bronagh is finally twenty-one and as much as she wants to have a low-key day, her boyfriend has a different idea. Dominic want’s Bronagh’s birthday to be perfect but as the day wears on things go from bad to worse and all his good intentions get thrown out the window. Can Dominic finally tell Bronagh how he has been feeling for the past year and resolve their issues? Or will his heart to heart implode in his face and sever all hope that they can have a solid future together?
Plot: This story takes place a few years after the first novel and is mainly about how people change and what it means to grow up while in a relationship. It also sets up next novel (Alec) at the end.
Writing: This novella is written in first person point of view of Bronagh. It is the in between novella of the first and second novels and cannot be read as a standalone.
Curb Appeal: I love that because this is mainly about Bronagh, she’s the one on the cover!! The blurb gives a little background on the characters and a good rundown on what’s going on now.
Ultimately: I liked how much both of the characters had grown up from their high school days and what they were willing to do to keep each other! Bronagh needed a wakeup call and Dominic need to have a little empathy. All in all, if you are in the mood for a hero who just wants to help his girl and a heroine who needs a little help with her temper then come check out Bronagh!!!
