Q: Share your favorite literary quote! Here's one of my tops favs right now, as they tend to change:“Life will break you. Nobody can protect you from that, and living alone won't either, for solitude will also break you with its yearning. You have to love. You have to feel. It is the reason you are here on earth. You are here to risk your heart. You are here to be swallowed up. And when it happens that you are broken, or betrayed, or left, or hurt, or death brushes near, let yourself sit by an apple tree and listen to the apples falling all around Read more [...]

Q: School is out! What is your favorite Summer Reading book??Hmm... I don't like summer. It gets super hot here, like unbearable heat, air feels hot as you breathe. I hate summer, I really do. Spring and fall are my thing. But anyway, due to my hate of summer, I tend to read winter stories or stories that include cool climate. Seriously, don't laugh! I don't mean winter holidays stories (that I rarely if ever read anyway), but just winter/cold climate stories. Those are my summer favs :D» Click to show the #FF Linky List.. « What about you guys? Activity! Hopefully warm weather for most of us is here soon…so tell us about your favorite outdoor reading spot. Or take a picture.Ok, don't laugh but prepare to be seriously underwhelmed. I never read outdoors. I live in an apartment building in the city so I'd have to go to a park or something to do outdoors reading, and parks are sort of few (though big and beautiful, I admit) and crawling with shouting kids, loud people in general and just, ugggh, crowds, swarms of people moving about or selling stuff. Can you pick up on my levels of enthusiasm? Read more [...]

Q: Confess your blogger sins! Is there anything as a newbie blogger that you’ve done, that as you gained more experience you were like — oops?Hmm...I think my worst oops was starting the blog without having a clear direction for it. It was back in March 2011, and I had another address for then this. Still Butterfly-o-Meter Books, because the name I stuck with ever since it came to me. But it was this hotpot of my writing tribulations, random rants, and the occasional book review. I didn't blog regularly in the beginning, it was more of a now Read more [...]
