After a vicious attack in an alley, policeman Aidan O’Bryan is left with Phoebe as his only path to understanding why the Echo Falls werewolf pack – his pack – is being attacked. When another pack member is killed, Phoebe is forced to confront her past before she loses Aidan and everything she has come to love.

Love and duty become one as Aidan strives to prevent Phoebe from becoming the next victim. But with Phoebe just as determined to protect Aidan and her new home, secrets from her past threaten to tear them apart.

Will love give Phoebe the strength to trust Aidan and face her fears, or will her past destroy her future?

Interview takes place shortly after the beginning of Echo Falls.
Hello, Officer O’Bryan. Thank you for time. I understand you’re a busy man.

A [smiles]: Call me Aidan. And yeah, you could say that. Day in the life.
I understand you have three active murder cases open at the moment. Can you tell us about that?

A: I can’t give you any more information then I’ve given the press. We’re currently investigating the murders of three individuals. At this time, we do not believe the murders are related and we are urging the public not to panic or take the law into their own hands.
Off the record, are you sure the murders aren’t related? We’re all werewolf-friendly here.

A [sighs]: Off the record, all the victims are young lone wolves. We don’t know who is killing them or why, but we’re going to figure it out.
Do you think it could be a Hunter?
A: There has never been a Hunter in Echo Falls. At least, not in our records. There is no definitive proof that they even exist anymore. Yes, three werewolves murdered does seem to be a huge coincidence, but that doesn’t mean we’re ready to start looking into myths for answers. There’s no reason to believe that a Hunter has wandered into Echo Falls by random chance.
Like Ms. Phoebe Martin wandered into Echo Falls.

A: Is there a question somewhere in there?
I understand you have taken over the care of one Ms. Martin in her recovery. I also understand that Ms. Martin may be related to the murders.

A [his expression growing harder by the moment]: Ms. Martin is a victim, not a suspect, and there is no reason to think otherwise.
You’re rather protective of Ms. Martin.
A [nods]: It sounds like you’ve run out of questions. Thank you for the interview. If you have any more questions, please direct them to the police station. I’m sure someone there will be able to direct your call.
*As Aidan leaves the room, he gives the interviewer one last look of warning. When it comes to the murders, there is not much more to tell at this point. When it comes to Phoebe Martin… Well, it looks like Aidan isn’t about to divulge any of her secrets…

Hello! Thank you so much for hosting me on my online book tour. I hope you and your readers enjoyed this interview with Aidan, though it was a brief one. He’s pretty good at keeping his cards close to his chest, so to say. 🙂

I hope you all will follow along with my tour for chances to win print and e-copies of Echo Falls.

I’m awfully suspicious of this Phoebe character. His refusal to discuss her as part of the narrative is indicative of something. Maybe it’s the station coffee.
