Fluttering Thoughts:

Worldbuilding: This story takes place in Toronto, Canada, in and around Cassie’s home!
Characters: The main characters in this tale are Drift and Cassie. Cassie has been in love with her boss for years but even though their relationship is more than just that of boss and an assistant, her inexperience is something that even he wouldn’t enjoy. Or would he? Drift has been in love with his assistant ever since her interview but he knows how skittish she can be even though she is the strongest woman he has ever met. After all these years and the right signals can she finally be ready to bring their relationship to the next level?
Plot: This is a super-fast story where the heroine has no idea that the hero loves her just as much as she loves him! It’s actually pretty funny how quickly their relationship comes together and how flabbergasted she is!
Writing: This story was told in first person point of view of Cassie. I really, really liked that there were lots of car terms and was essentially a gear head story! It was unique in the sense that there were a lot of funny play on words with all the car terms. It definitely added an extra layer of special to Cassie and Drift’s story.
Curb Appeal: It can’t be said enough times that this cover is timeless and special! It definitely goes well with the theme of each story! The blurb a lot of great info for the reader and essentially tells you what the story is going to entail.
Ultimately: This was a super quick, hot read that I wish could have been longer! I would have loved to read Drift’s point of view, when they first met, and how their relationship changes with all of the new things happening in their lives. All in all, if you decided to get For the First Time Anthology I would wholly recommend reading this story!!
