    Fluttering Thoughts:

Worldbuilding: This story takes place on the private German island that Noah owns.
Characters: The main characters in this novel are Aurora Adams and Noah Hill. Aurora has devoted her life to ballet, at her mother’s insistence, but her perfection has come at a cost. Her soul is isolated and starting to slip into an icy tundra of despair. Fortunately for Aurora, her seemingly jailed existence is coming to an end. Noah has never been so captivated by one person, in his entire life. Seeing Aurora dance hooked him and now the more shows he sees the more obsessed he becomes with possessing her. Can Noah unlock Aurora’s gilded cage? Or will she trade one prison for another?
Plot: This is a romance between Aurora and Noah, that touches on emotional and physical abuse.
Writing: This novel is written in first person points of view of Noah and Aurora. It is also a standalone novel.
Curb Appeal: I love this cover! Definitely reminds me of Aurora, especially after Noah gets his hands on her. The blurb gives a great rundown on the situation and what the back ground is on the characters.
Ultimately: This was another great story by Alexa Riley! It’s their signature short and steamy shtick with characters that pack a punch! All in all, if you are in the mood for a hero whose whole life revolves around his woman and a heroine who finally gets the life she deserves then come check out Devotion!!
